This Sunday Kelly and I went to Banff. Kelly has been there many many times already but this was my 2nd time. The first time was in November when Kelly and I visited Alberta to look for an apartment to live in. It is so amazing looking back at the past, and seeing where things lead, and how they get there.

Banff is beautiful. Canada is such a beautiful country. And what an amazing feeling it was visiting the mountain with the new camera. Kelly and I took over 200 photos! I will upload the highlights of the trip. There are some great looking photos here. I hope you enjoy them!

This is a photo I took from the car on the way up to Banff. Not a lot of my photos made the cut for this blog. I really love the way the lines on the road look, and the mountain in the background looks great! (In my opinion).

This is Castle Mountain, Kelly's favorite mountain. I took about 20 photos of this mountain on the way up. It really is a beautiful mountain. Again this shot was taken from the car.

Our first stop was at this wonderful spot. We missed the exit to Banff, and had to turn ourselves around. When we went to go turn around we found this beautiful little pond. The colour of the water was such an amazing turquoise. This is a photo of a flower that Kelly took right in front of this pond.

This is Lake Louise, our second stop in Banff. Kelly took these beautiful photographs of the Lake. The water was such an amazing colour. From what I understand, the glaciers feed the lake, and in the summer, paints it this incredible colour. For the 3 other seasons of the year, the water is crystal clear.

This is my attempt at an artsy photo. I failed. I had to take it into photo shop and do a ton of editing. Contrast, colour, etc. I still have a lot to learn with this new camera. It's very complicated to use!

And the final photo of the lake. I will be uploading a similar photo to this on Kelly's blog. The black and white photo she took of this image is AMAZING. But I wanted you to see the colour in this picture. I am still wowed by the colour of the water! Please let me know what you think of these photos!
