Four Legged TURD
Introducing Mr. Head Trauma or HT for short

Skipper aka Head Trauma - 10 weeks old
Kelly and I acquired this 'devil child' by accident. Then somehow, unbeknown to me, 'we' fell in love with it. It was submitted to the animal hospital that Kelly works at with a head trauma - hence the name. The story goes, a mother and her child brought this kitten into the clinic. The kitten was bleeding from the mouth and ears. The child claimed, with guilt written plainly upon his forehead, that he stepped on the kittens tail. The family couldn't afford the medication to tend to the kitten, and it was cheaper for them to put him down. Fortunately the vet clinic that Kelly works for doesn't encourage kitten killing, so they told the family they would put the money for the euthanasia towards the medication for the cat, and find the cat a new home.
- This is where we come in -
*DISCLAIMER* - The following is a re-enactment of the events that took place the night of the arrival of the new kitten. Actual events may not have happened in this fashion.
WELL... I receive a phone call that very same day from Kelly.
Kelly - There's a kitten here in the clinic and it's SOOO cute.
Joseph - We don't need another cat
Kelly - Oh, I know. I don't want another cat either... 2 is enough. But they need someone to foster it... just for a little while.
Joseph - umm ... I don't know Kelly... So many things can go wrong with this.
Kelly - It'll be fine.. and it won't cost us anything.
Joseph - NO
Kelly - PLEASE?
Joseph - Uggh... Alright
Well... As most of you know already... We ended up keeping the cat. (and if you didn't know... you probably could have guessed).
I think the kitten is incredibly annoying. I mean, I can tolerate him... most of the time. And I know in the future he will grow out of a lot of his nasty habits. But right now he annoys me. But that doesn't mean he's not INCREDIBLY cute as well

Here he is cuddling up with my AYLA.

And this is a photo of my Ayla cuddling up with him

Look at the size of those paws vs. kitty's head. Get em' Jake!
